A small but busy video and film production company in Boston needed a site with a clean, modern aesthetic to showcase their work. Based on a design developed by our partners at Vital Design, we implemented the latest in HTML5 video display techniques based on an integrated CDN for maximum playback performance on all current and future mobile and web platforms. Behind the scenes, the site includes a full set of custom Content Management tools with seamless video encoding, and a managed Client Extranet.

A sea-kayak guiding and education outfit based in Cape Ann MA needed an appealing new site with the ability to update their events, tours and all other site content and imagery. RefineryCMS fit the bill nicely. We hope to see them on the water this summer!

A world-class equestrian event facility in North Carolina was in desperate need of a way to take control over their site content, including an ever-changing schedule of events, races, promotions and sponsors. Their existing Wordpress-based site had become messy and unmanageable. We re-built the re-designed site using RefineryCMS, which allows the non-profit to fully maintain the site structure and content in a controlled, consistent fashion.

We worked as part of a startup team to build the tools that pull the levers and push the buttons behind the scenes, for this friendly-wagering destination.

The worlds 3rd-largest laptop manufacturer required a slim, sleek and sexy promo site to match the design of their new flagship business-focused product. We implemented the no-nonsense, imagery-led design provided by Honest, using standard HTML5, custom jQuery and Twitter and Facebook integration.

A microsite to work with a concert pass promotion and sweepstakes campaign by a national agency. Onset worked with our friends at Honest to gather user registration data from their Flash front-end, and randomly parcel out the prizes to the lucky few. Security and flood control were key issues in this successful launch. Unfortunately, the promotion ended on May 30, but you are encouraged to try the product which is an achievement of snack-food science to be sure.

A New York chocolatier targeting hardcore chocolate lovers with intense and imaginative artisanal chocolate products. We developed a e-commerce storefront to their specifications based on the cshop platform, with integration with their existing customer loyalty programs, gift card payment and fulfillment systems.

A local, family-owned saddlery and tack shop went online with thousands of products using a Magento e-commerce solution. We customized the the storefront and helped develop the necessary custom shipping modules.

This local high-tech manufacturer builds complex protective covers, aircraft hangars and other systems for long-term storage of assets for industry and the military. We were proud to partner with Rumbletree, using their design expertise and our user-friendly content management system, allowing staff to visually maintain all aspects of the site, including case studies and an online quote generator.

A local purveyor of epicurian equestrian edibles contacted us with the need to establish a simple on-line presence and offer retail e-commerce, using their existing design and content. Their simple product line and un-fussy design lent itself well to our in-house e-commerce framework, which provides a standard set of catalog and order management features with an emphasis on ease of use.

We collaborated again with our partners at Circus Media to build a e-commerce enabled swag distribution site for Netjets, the market leader and orignator of fractional aircraft ownership. The site offers Netjets gear to existing customers, and also allows sales reps to send promotional items to clients and prospects, based on managed credit limits. This custom solution integrates directly with a 3rd-party fulfillment house for shipping and order tracking.

Provided with a set of unique visual designs and user-interface guidelines by our partners at
Mechanica, we were able to create semantic, valid structure that came alive with extensive Javascript development based on jQuery. Built for real-estate company Forest City Enterprises, these 11 distinctly branded sites all use AJAX to query the legacy ERP system for apartment availability and leasing information, and feature innovative image slideshows and interactive maps applications.

One of the icons of the 20th century – an athlete and a personality without comparison – could he be The Greatest of All Time? There is no argument here. We were proud to partner with our friends at Circus Media to develop the official online store for Muhammed Ali Enterprises. Books, authentic signed memorabilia, and some excellent posters are all available through this custom catalog and e-commerce application, which is managed by MAE staff and integrates directly with their shipping and fulfillment partners.

CoSo is the nation’s oldest non-profit artists association and gallery. Provided with stellar design and direction by Torque9 Media, Onset integrated our Visycs CMS to allow CoSo staff to update their constantly changing Exhibitions and Special Events information. We also provided a custom e-commerce solution, allowing visitors to register for Artist Workshops, pay member dues and make donations online.

A friend who has a passion for the streetside weekend sales that pop up all over Brooklyn got in touch with an idea to make her life, and those who share the love of the hunt, easier and more fun. Working from her design and direction, we developed Stoopsales.com, a site to find and list Stoop Sales (a yard sale for those with stoops) in Brooklyn, using Google Maps and Ruby on Rails.

Onset was proud to work with EBSCO Publishing to maintain and extend their EHConnect application using J2EE and mySQL. This application gives library members and students across the world access to EBSCO’s extensive database of academic and popular journal articles.
